Q: When are your services?
A: Hillside has three worship services each weekend. Please check our Service Times and Venues to find out more information.
Q: What type of attire can I expect to see at Hillside?
A: Hillside is a "come as you are" kind of church. Jeans or Ties are equally welcome. You'll find a warm, casual and welcoming environment where an array of dress styles can be found. We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear and focus instead on the message of Christ's love for you.
Q: Do you have services for my children and teens?
A: Children and students best learn spiritual truth in ways appropriate and relevant to their age and life stage. We have designed environments for all age groups from birth through High School. Please click on Hillside Kidz or Hillside Students for more information.
Q: Where do I check my children into the children’s ministry?
A: For children ages birth to 5th grade, we have an automated check-in system. This system makes sure your children are secure and well taken care of by the Hillside Kidz ministry team. Please make your way to the children’s building and one of our greeters will guide you to one of several locations for automated check-in. View our Campus Map for detailed area descriptions.
Q: How often do you have communion? Who is welcome to participate?
A: We serve communion every week. Anyone who has given their life to Jesus Christ is welcome to participate in Communion whether you are a member, regular attender, or guest at Hillside Christian Church.
Q: Is there a pastor or counselor I can talk to?
A: Whether you have a one-time need or are looking for ongoing counseling, Hillside is here to help. We always have a Pastor-On-Call available to advise and listen. We can also refer professional counselors if desired.
Q: Do you provide accommodations for those with special needs or disabilities during your services?
A: Handicapped seating is available in our auditorium. For specific locations, please ask our greeters as you enter the auditorium. For our hearing impaired guests, listening devices are available at the Guest Services Desk in the lobby.
Q: How can I find out more information on becoming a member at Hillside?
A: Our membership class, Discover Hillside, is offered regularly throughout the year and usually on a monthly basis. This is a great avenue to find out more about the mission, vision, values, beliefs, strategy, and structure of Hillside. This is also a great place to bring any questions you might have about our church and ministries. This class is led by our pastor and staff and is required for membership.
